Explore Poetry and Creative writing With Dr Rhiannon Hooson Welsh Poet and Author.

Rhiannon is an experienced workshop leader , creative mentor and award winning Writer , leaving Lancaster University with a MA and Distinction in Creative Writing and a PHD in Poetry .

Rhiannons first pamphlet , This Wreckless Beauty ,  was published in 2004, and her worl has since been widely published in literary magazines and anthologies . Her first full length collection , the Other City , is due to be published in 2016 .  Rhiannons work has been described as being ''at the forefront of literary female voice''( Gerald Wozek) , ''uncompromising and sharp-edged'' (Joanna Boulter) , and ''compelling and provocative .'' (Graham Mort).

Introduction to Creative Writing , ....

This one off class gives participants a chance to get a feel for Creative Writing  before Signing up for the Six Week classes , or joining up with an on going Writers Group .

Cerative Writing , ....

This six week class gives the participants a chance to develop their writing skills and discuss their work in a small informal group .

Writers Group , ....

Anyone wishing to continue their writing can join the Writers Group ,  A freindly get to gether for Writers and Poets to discuss their work .

 Summer Creative Writing Courses, ...

During the summer months the six week Creative Writing Classes can be condenced  in to a one week course  , this offers an oppertunity for visitors to come and stay in beautifull and inspirational surroundings of Radnorshire .

Group visits with accomodation can be arranged at a number of local hostelrie's and country retreats , this allows  families and groups to come together and explore the area even if all members do not wish to participate in the Writing Course .
